TMF Group

TMF Group – a global leader in providing employee, financial and legal administration services – asked TD Cascade to design and produce the 2023 Annual Report while incorporating new developments and reporting innovations in preparation for new mandatory standards.

In a creative session, we defined TMF Group’s reporting goals, emphasizing more storytelling and alignment with its brand values: simplifying a complex world, supported by a global platform.

We proposed an online-first reporting approach and developed a creative concept that translates these new objectives into concrete components of the annual report. People contributing to the success of its global platform would tell an engaging story of TMF Group.

TD Cascade implemented all designs using the latest release of the F19 platform and provided full support during the production of the 2023 Annual Report and Sustainability Report.

The result is a showcase of progressive reporting with an outstanding and clever design, seamlessly integrated into a bespoke content management system.

Bouwinvest

TD Cascade has long been the preferred reporting partner for Bouwinvest, providing comprehensive design services for all its reporting needs and related publications, both offline and online. We have been responsible for the concept, design, development and implementation of the Bouwinvest Reporting platform—an advanced online environment embedded with F19 tooling. This platform includes a variety of print and screen templates, enabling Bouwinvest to not only produce annual and quarterly reports but also create all investor-related communications, including portfolio plans, ISAE reports, and investment memoranda.

In 2022, TD Cascade introduced a new corporate style for all Bouwinvest stakeholder communications and crafted a visual narrative that spans all reporting and investor documentation. To support these initiatives, we upgraded the production and publishing environment by customizing and enhancing the F19 tooling. We assumed responsibility for hosting, set up a dedicated server and developed new code to improve user experience.

Today, the Bouwinvest Reporting platform remains a cutting-edge tool designed to fulfill all of Bouwinvest’s investor-related communication needs, exemplifying state-of-the-art reporting and functionality.

Just Eat Takeaway

Just Eat Takeaway

After successful publication of the 2022 annual report, TD Cascade set up a creative session with Just Eat Takeaway in the summer of 2023 to determine upcoming reporting objectives, and how to improve production process and output quality.

As a result, new and more storytelling in support of brand narrative, a new and optimized screen-friendly format, a clear structure and navigation to improve readability and a substantial reduction in size.

From 276 pages in 2022 to 192 pages in the new report; 30% reduction in size by optimizing grid and page layout and improving visuals like graphs, charts and tables. By adding more interactivity and new navigation improved accessibility and overall user-experience.

The production of the annual report is a tightly organized and semi-automated process installed by TD Cascade in which raw output generated by Sturnis – used for content and data management by Just Eat Takeaway – is embedded in design templates developed and managed by TD Cascade.

As world’s leader serving around 4,200 cups of coffee or tea every second, JDE Peet’s wanted to professionalize its report accordingly. In 2022, TD Cascade was asked to create a new design for the annual report. JDE Peet’s had a clear set of objectives in mind.

Although targeted at investors, the report should inform and captivate (future) employees to the brand story and ESG narrative of JDE Peet’s.

TD Cascade optimized overall design, improved visuals and developed new brand stories, added interactivity and page navigation for better online accessibility.

After a complex workaround in the production of the 2022 PDF and ESEF package, we advised JDE Peet’s to integrate all design for 2023 directly into Workiva, tooling already in use by JDE Peet’s.

TD Cascade implemented all design specifications and enabled to set up a workflow as a full service support system in one Workiva environment.

DELTA Fiber

DELTA Fiber asked our team to design and develop their 2023 reporting, being an ESG report as main carrier and 4 integrated annual reports. Based on brand identity and core values TD Cascade developed a creative narrative aligned with DELTA Fiber’s hybrid business model. This new visual theme for storytelling, complemented by a revamped general styling, would form the foundation for the design and production of all 5 reports.

By optimizing infographics and improving overall structure we uplifted the overall look and feel which resulted in more solid and mature reports that meet today’s stakeholders needs.

TD Cascade furthers developed an online landing page for the ESG report allowing DELTA Fiber to add more interactivity to its ESG content and easily share it on social media and other channels.

TD Cascade has been the reporting partner of a.s.r. Netherlands and its portfolio of various independent insurance activities for many years.

We have guided a.s.r. in the transformation from an offline annual report to a multi-channel annual report using Tangelo as tooling for pdf and online production.

Our team is responsible for concept, design, content development, coding and overall support. In 2021 a.s.r. won the FD Henri Sijthoff award for its annual report.

TD Cascade developed a visual concept that expresses the key theme of a.s.r. aligned with its strategic pillars. This visual concept is primarily used for all reporting, but it is also be applicable to other corporate communications and investor relations activities (e.g. Capital Markets Day, shareholders’ meetings) – in order to maintain consistency in storytelling.

TD Cascade provides ongoing design support to a.s.r. if and when changes or updates to visual assets and design templates are required.

PostNL

PostNL asked TD Cascade to design an annual report in line with the ESRS reporting standard. With the new report, PostNL would take its first steps towards full CSRD compliance.

The biggest challenge for our team was the implementation of PostNL’s new visual identity.

TD Cascade handled all design, development, and production of the 2023 annual report; resulting in a interactive pdf, accompanied by an online version of the report and an ESEF package.

We created a design system as basis for consistent use of all design elements in all reporting content and output.

Our developers provided a new and custom code set for a -Tangelo software based- fully responsive website, a reporting hub and an inline XBRL for the ESEF package.

PostNL’s ambition is to continue taking steps towards fully integrated CSRD compliant reporting.
As reporting partner, TD Cascade is excited to support PostNL in this aspiration over the coming years.
