Privacy & Security at TD Cascade

At TD Cascade, we are committed to proper protection and security of individuals, resources, information and privacy. To this end, we have designed our organisation and systems in the best possible way. We endeavour every day to apply the rules for protection and security properly. For our customers. For ourselves.

We have taken appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. For example, our website has an SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands and we have a certified supplier for the hosting of our websites.

Processing and storage

We only process personal data if it is for a specific purpose. For example, to contact you by phone or e-mail. Or to carry out an assignment based on an agreement. We do not keep data longer than strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which they were collected. If no agreement is concluded, we do not store data for longer than two years.

Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Only when necessary for the execution of an order or to comply with a legal obligation, data are exchanged with third parties.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to investigate how users use our website. General visit data including the IP address of devices, the time of retrieval and data sent by browsers are tracked. We use this data for analyses of visit and click behaviour to improve the functioning of our website.

This data is anonymised as much as possible and is not provided by us to third parties. However, Google transfers the information obtained to servers in the United States and stores the data. We have not given Google permission to use the information for other Google services. Google may, however, provide the obtained data to third parties if it is legally required to do so or if other parties process the information on Google’s behalf. TD Cascade has no influence over this. You can read more about this in Google’s privacy policy. Here you will also find Google Analytics’ privacy policy.

MailChimp

To create and send newsletters, we use MailChimp. This online marketing platform is part of The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in the United States. Personal data of newsletter subscribers are added to MailChimp’s database. This data is processed when newsletters are sent. In addition, MailChimp uses web beacons. These beacons are in the e-mail newsletter, and among other things keep track of whether and when the e-mail is opened, on which links readers click. (Opt-out: unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter). More information can be found in Mailchimp’s privacy statement.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on the device you use to visit a website that store information about (your visit to) these websites. Our website uses different types of cookies. For instance, for ease of use, session cookies are used to remember visitor input and choices (think language choice, for instance). Because the session cookie registers which parts of the website are viewed during a visit, we can adjust our website accordingly. Session cookies are automatically deleted from the device used as soon as the browser is closed.
